Translate texts without switching between applications

In MS Office, Adobe Reader/ Acrobat, in all browsers, messengers and other applications

No more losing time at copy-pasting and switching between translator desktop application or online-translator!

Select a text in any application that you’re working in
Use hotkey combination (pressing Ctrl twice by default settings)
Get the instant translation in a pop-up window

The source text available for editing appears in the upper pane of Promt Agent. Edit the text, if needed. Then check the translation and paste the resulting text into your document or mail!

And learn all its meanings

You are proficient in foreign language and all you need is a dictionary?
With the PROMT Agent you’ll be able to immediately see the translations of words and collocations.

When translating the selected word you can hear it pronounced by a native speaker and see its lemma – a headword, highlighted in blue

PROMT Agent doesn't have a complicated interface or convoluted settings.

Nevertheless, we left for you one tiny setting: you can change the subject of the text (e.g. Medicine and Pharmaceutics, News, Natural Sciences, etc) to get a more accurate translation.

For example, «Gerisht» is translated into German as Armageddon when subject it set to «Religion» and as court, when the subject is «Personal correspondence».

In order to get subtitles, drawings, infographics or scanned documents translated,

press CTRL+~
select the area containing text
Get the instant translation in a pop-up window

Simply pause the YouTube video to translate the subtitles.

Use PROMT Agent for express translation of documents in

MS Office (*.doc, *.xls, *.pptx), Adobe (*.pdf, *.rtf), OpenDoc (*.odt, *.ods)

Select the file for translation in Windows Explorer or other file manager. Press the keyboard shortcut (Double-click Ctrl by default) and PROMT Agent will transfer the document to the main application.

Your document will be translated in source format with all the tables, diagrams and images in place!

You can also drag the document to the pop-up PROMT Agent window

And save your time when working online!

Web page translation is easy:
Select the web page address and press the keyboard shortcut.

The translated page will open in your default browser.

Simply select the Translate URLs as web pages in browser for a faster translation of web pages.

Translate text

Simply select the text anywhere and press Ctrl-double-click. Or set the Translate text while selecting with the mouse option in the PROMT Agent Settings.

Copy the translation

Press this button so that the translation is copied to the clipboard. Now you can paste it anywhere without losing a word.

Dock window

The PROMT Agent window fades when your mouse moves off. To keep the window on top, click this button, you’ll be able to drag the PROMT Agent window wherever you want.

Translate document

Drag the document to the PROMT Agent window and get it translated with the original structure and format preserved.*
* Not available in PROMT LITE

Translate text in an image

To get subtitles, drawings, infographics or scanned documents translated, press CTRL+` and select the area containing text.

Translate Web Page

Only for PTS or PROMT START users.
Select the link, press Ctrl-double-click and get the webpage translated entirely, including images and URLs. To view the translated page, open your PROMT translator or select the setting enabling the translation to be displayed as a separate page.
