The Rosetta Foundation has been established to provide access to information and knowledge across language boundaries, independent of economic considerations. The foundation’s aim is to fight poverty, and to work for better education, justice and healthcare by offering translation services and technologies to organisations sharing these aims. The Rosetta Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation registered in Ireland. It is managed by Reinhard Schдler and directed by a board of international experts in translation and localisation; it is supported by the Irish Government funded Centre for Next Generation Localisation (www.cngl.ie) and the Localisation Research Centre (www.localisation.ie) at the University of Limerick, as well as by contributors from the translation and localisation communities. www.therosettafoundation.org
